Rita, Zedd, Mondo, Machina, Divatox, and a new villianess named
Astronoma headlined a gathering of the United Alliance of Evil. Their
leader, Dark Spector boasted that he captured Zordon and was draining
him of his powers. A Red Space Ranger crashed the meeting in
disguise. Astronoma exposed him but the Ranger was able to escape with
his life. Spector sent Astronoma after him.
The Turbo Ranger's shuttle ended up docking with a strange ship. The
Rangers soon meant the Red Space Ranger who thought that they were
invaders. Astronoma attacked and they Turbo team was able to prove
their work. The Red Ranger revealed himself as Andros from K0 35. He
gave the team enough supplies to get back to Earth but refused to work
with them. Alpha 6 was able to convicne him otherwise. Andros rescued
the team from Astronoma's forces and gave them there new Space Powers.
The team was able to combine the shuttle with the Megaship to form the
Astro Megaship
The Rangers journeyed the galaxy looking for Zordon but would return to
Earth to protect it from Astronoma's attacks. Who was aided by Ecliptor
and Elgar. Andros and Ashley seemed to be attracted to each
other. The Rangers learned that Andros' sister was abducted when
they were children and that KO 35 was abandoned due to an invasion by
Dark Spector. The Rangers met up with the Phantom Ranger
once again, who gave them the Delta Megazord.
Darkconda soon jioned Astronoma's forces and proved to be a tough
adversary for the Rangers. Andros realized that Darkconda was the one
to take his sister. The Rangers were able to use Zordon's Key Cards to
gain access to the Mega Voyager. They used the megazord to destory
Darkconda. Andros's best friend, Zhane the Silver Ranger, awoke from
Crogenic Sleep to aid the Rangers and jion them on there mission.
Darkconda returned having more than one life.
The Space Rangers meant up with KO 35 rebels. Zhane decided to remain
with them to assist their cause. Andros and Astronoma both found
out that they were siblings. After some reluctance Astronoma betrayed
Dark Spector and jioned the Rangers as her true self (
Karone). Dark Spector sent a metoer to hit Earth in revenge. Zhane
helped the Rangers divert the asteriod with his new Mega Winger. But
Karone fe;l back into the hands of Dark Spector and was brainwashed
into being Astronoma. She sent Spector's Physco Rangers after the Space
team. The Rangers were truly tested by the evil team of Rangers.
Astronoma ploted to use the team to drain Spector of his power, so she
could be the Queen of evil.
The Rangers were able to defeat the Phsycos eventually. Soon after
Astronoma led the UAE in teh name of Dark Spector as they conquered the
Universe. Not even Earth was sparred the attack. Darconda destoryed
Dark Spector with a powerful missle and ended up causing his own
demise. Astronoma took control of the UAE. Andros journeyed to the Dark
Fortress to talk some sense into her. Meanwhile the rest of the team
revealed themselves to the citizens of Angel Grove and led them in a
revolt agains the hostile forces. Andros accidently kiiled Astronoma
during his clash with her. Zordon was on her ship and pleaded with
Andros to shatter his tube. It would kill him but it would also defeat
the evil. Andros reluctantly did so and Zordon't energy wave vaporized
much of the UAE. Lord Zedd, Rita, and Divatox were turned into
humans. The galaxy was saved but Andros truened to Earth with the dead
Astronoma's body. Magically she was restored to life as Karone. The
Rangers took the KO 35 rebels back to there home world. Andros, Karone,
and Zhane jioned the rest of the team on the Megaship as they returned
to Earth to live in peace.
