Three desert theives accidently unleash ancient demons from their prison. Lightspeed Rescue of Marnier Bay is prepared. Captain Mitchell sent his duaghter, Dana to recruit the four chosen young men and woman to becoem Lighspeed Rangers. Fightfighter Carter Greyson, extreme sports stat Kelesy Winslow, stunt piolet Joel Rawlings, and aqua park perfromer Chad lee ware recruited to jion Lightspee Rescue. Dana is a paramedic and became the fifth Lightspedd Ranger. They are able to fight off Dolbolico's first attack.

The Demons want to destory Marnier Bay because it had been builton the ruins of there Qweens's ancient palace. Dobolcic led a group of demons ; Loki, Jinxer, Vypra, and the baby Empus ( Qween Bansheera's son).

Angela Fairwether equips the Rangers with powerful technolgy, inclodung the Lightspeed Rail Rescues ( That could form the Lightspeed Megazord. ) Joel always flirts with Angela but she always played hard to get. Qween Bansheera soon returndsin spirit and is not happy that her palace was not rebuilt.  The Rnagers gain th Supertrain Megazord. Dobolcio has the Tatanium Powers stolen and uses the new Ranger against the rest of the team. Thw Tatium Ranger  ends up really being  Ryan. Michell's son, who he lost in a car accident. Dobolico's spirt made Micheall giev up his son in order to save him from a fall. Ryan was lied to  and beleives his father abandoned him. When Ryan learns th truth he gives the Titanium Powers back to Mitchill. He soon relaizes he was truly good and jioned the team. Dobolico curses him with a cobra that would eventually kill him when he morphed a few times. Bansheera gives Dobolcio and ultimantum to defeat the Rangers. Ryan breaks his curse by defeating the a cobra demon. He uses the Max Solar Zord to combine with the Rangers Megzord, to form the Lightspeed Solar Max Megazord. The team  destorys Diabolico.

Empus recieves Diabolicos' star pwoer and becomes the adult Olympus. He triedsto ressurect his mother, but due to the Ranger's interferences she doesn't come back whole. Ryan leaves to find clues to trap the demons.  The Rangers recieve the Omega Megazord.  Loki and Vypra don't like Olympus. Jinxer loves him like a son.

When Olumpus betrays  Loki and Vypra, they  ressurect Diabolico. Bansheera is fine with him being back as long as it doesn't distract from the rebuilding of her palace. Ryan is able to find the Sorcer of the Sands and learns of the importance of a magical key. The sorceror tires to bound the demons once again but Dobolicio's chanting destorys him.

Bansheera pretends to favore Loki and forces Doblocio to blast him when he is near the Rnagers. Dobolico refuses but his magicalyl  forced to obey. This turns him against Bansheera and he becomes a would be ally to the Rangers. Unfortunatly Bansheera is able to take control of his will. Leading to a showdown between the Rangers and the gigantic Olympus, Diabolico. The Rangers use the Life Force Megazord to destory the two. Bansheera plots to open the gateway to the Shadow World, to resurect all her fallen worriers. Ryan is captured by Bansheera who needs the magical key. Carter is able to save Ryan as the Rnagers become trapped in a damagfe Aqua base ( that was inferatrated by Baddings).   In a clamatic showdown the Lightspeed Rangers are able to trap Bansheera in the Shadow World with a little help from Dobolico's spirit. Joel finally gets Fairwether to go on a date with him. The Ranger return there powers back but decide to go on one more rescue for old times sake.
